AD Group launches Interactive Exhibition Presenters at IFSEC 2007
July 5, 2007 AD Group and Dedicated Microcomputers, world leading CCTV manufacturers, unveiled interactive presentation displays at IFSEC 2007, NEC Birmingham 21st – 24th May 2007, based on Chipwrights CW5521 SoC/ViSP solutions.
The traditional printed product display boards were replaced by 18 individual 32” portrait displays, driven at 480x800 pixels.
The solution was delivered using turnkey software from Chipwrights, including RTOS, IP stack and Embedded Web browser. Multiple pages were served for each product position, in multiple languages from a central server on the exhibition stand. The Javascript and Video Plug-in support allowed for easy integration of automated presentations, including live video content.
The hardware for each display consisted of a single board CW5521 solution, directly driving the VGA displays, and communicating via Ethernet. For free standing solutions the on-board CF slot could also be utilized to provide the page storage.
Said Pauline Norstrom, AD Group Worldwide Head of Marketing, “We were delighted with the impact this added to our exhibition stand, not only extending the depth of scope and product coverage we could offer, but also offering the same support in multiple languages”
