Internet Protocol Television Reference Design - Deluxe Version

ChipWrights' Deluxe IPTV reference design provides a complete IPTV solution based on the powerful CW5631 System-on-Chip development platform. This optimized platform extends the capabilities of ChipWrights' Mini IPTV solution by adding advanced IPTV features such as S-Video and HDMI video outputs, Compact Flash memory, and support for SATA hard drives.

The design operates over a wide input voltage range (12V nominal). Other features include composite video output, stereo audio output, Ethernet, IR remote control receiver, and an option for an SD-card, an IDE or CE-ATA hard drive.

ChipWrights' fully optimized IPTV solution is based on the robust CW5631 System-on-Chip processor. The IPTV design supports digital video recording functions, media browsing features, multiple audio and video formats and storage mediums.

The reference design can be used in stand-alone set top box products or for embedding into other video-centric products, such as televisions or media players.
